Georgia Silverman is a born and raised New Yorker. She doesn’t remember when she started writing stories, but her seventh-grade math teacher commented on her diligent note-taking — she was actually working on her latest creation.
She graduated from Hunter College in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. In 2026, she was a part of the Kenyon Review’s Online Winter Workshops and the New York State Summer Writers Institute Program. In 2020 she attended NYU’s Writers’ in Paris Program in 2020 (sadly she wasn’t in Paris, but quarantined with her parents). She was also attended the Kenyon Reviews Young Writers Program in 2016.
When she isn’t writing or reading from her ever expanding to read pile, she can be found in one of New York City’s museums or rewatching the Great British Bake Off.
